Paris, June 24, 2024 – Comet Software, a French group of vertical software publishers, today announces the acquisitions of Cover 3D, MeSoigner, Silicon DNA and Statigest, four software publishing companies that are leaders in their respective markets. These four acquisitions follow the 60 million euro fundraising in April 2024, and demonstrate the ambition and relevance of Comet Software’s long-term decentralized model for software entrepreneurs.
These acquisitions enable Comet Software to strengthen its presence within the vertical software markets for construction, pharmacy, financial services and consumer goods, and bring its consolidated revenue to 14 million euros with an EBITDA margin above 30%. The group now has more than 5,000 clients and around one hundred employees based in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
By joining Comet Software, the companies continue to operate autonomously, in keeping with their entrepreneurial DNA, while benefiting from tailored operational and financial support in order to accelerate their long-term growth. The executives have also chosen to reinvest a significant amount in the capital of Comet Software, thus becoming co-shareholders of the group.
Beyond these first four acquisitions, Comet Software intends to continue its rapid development and is aiming for 100 million euros in revenue by 2027. The group is currently in discussions with several publishers in French-speaking Europe.
